“Depression: A Friend or a Foe?” Talk with UTAR – 24 October 24

UTAR has invited Mr. Jin as a professional guest speaker for sharing about Depression on 24th October 2024. Depression is a mental disorder that is rated as one of the most prominent mental illnesses that cause suffering to millions of people in the world. It is an understatement to simply say all of us need to understand what it is.

Depression is the main research topic in Mr Jin’s thesis in his PhD, therefore it was eye-opening experience for the audience with close to 200 students and staff joined the session and raised some interesting questions. Overall it was a fun interaction and hopefully we will meet again.
