People and Meanings in Life

To be honest, life is really strange. Everyone has their own journey of life and some of us go through unbelievable difficulties in order to make it where they are today. Out of the billions of people in the world, we get to meet and work together, and enjoyed the process immensely.

Each individual goes through a life journey and carries with them a unique story, and I love listening to life stories. Both of them are extraordinary individuals, which I cherish greatly for knowing them personally.

Dr. Azy was my lecturer in counselling. She is highly intelligent, highly efficient in work, and exceptionally capable with powerful character reflecting in resilience, diligence, highly responsible, with great potential. She taught me the meaning of hardworking (or diligence), purpose, determination and perseverance.

Mr. Hari was my course mate from a master degree counselling program. He is fun to be with, positive vibes, highly adaptable, fighting spirit and carries with him a life changing story. He taught me the meaning of hope, the power (forces) beyond human imagination and the values of life.

We all have only one life. If we can take the time to understand and appreciate the life of others, we may unknowingly discover another powerful meanings in life through the experience of others. And that itself can be a great source of drive for transforming our life to be more meaningful and happy.

[Update] Our friend Hari suddenly passed away in early 2023. It was a shocking news to all of us who met him and worked with him closely. His vibrant character and passionate vibes was gone forever. Though he was living with his “second” life, but knowing he is actually no longer around us deeply saddened us. Here to pay tribute to someone who is inspiring and truly exceptional, he used his second chance to live to his fullest. He did what he can to achieve his dreams and goals without regret. That was probably his most important meaning of his life. Praying for him that he is enjoying his time at the right place in peace and without suffering.
